The Ridgefield Marina is a quaint moorage across the Lake River (map) from the spectacular 5000 acre Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge http://www.ridgefieldfriends.org/index.php on the Lake River. It is just 20 miles from downtown Portland and sits next to the Port of Ridgefield.  Fish off the dock or from your boat, the rent includes boat moorage behind the house. Wildlife abounds – herons, otters, beavers, and many varieties of birds that use the refuge as a stopover on their flight paths.  Hiking is available from two refuge access points, both within 3 miles of the marina.  View wildlife in their habitate from several walking trials as well as a 5 mile driving loop.
